Kajira education

Many kajirae have written to me to say that they have found this blog helpful to them. In trying to think of more ways to help those who are new to Gor, I decided to add this page. This will be a general information page, with links to other resources. I will add other pages with lessons on how to serve, dance, greet and kneel.

The absolutely best resource a slave can have

The Gorean Series by John Norman: This site has the Gorean novels available for download, for a minimal price (usually lower than what you would spend on the books). If you only read one, read Slave Girl of Gor. While certainly not the best work of literature, it paints a good picture of the life of a kajira.

On this blog

How to emote slave positions

How to write a slave dance

How to greet

More will be posted in the future.

On the Internet

Luther’s Gorean Educational Scrolls: A collection of essays, most backed up by book quotes. The pieces range from the castes and pillars of Gor, to foods, drinks and animals of Gor.

World of Gor: Another good site, less information available, which makes it a bit easier to sort through. It also has a book store.

The Library of Gorean Knowledge: This site is excellent and specifically covers many things not found in the Luther scrolls, such as the typical day in the life of a Gorean, energy bulbs and the bathroom habits of Goreans (totally important things to know).

Map of Gor: An understanding of geography is often important, so you’ll know why Panthers would never be found in cities such as Port Kar, Port Cos, Tyros and Hellenos.

The Web Boards at The Slave Register: If you are interested in being a slave in reality, as opposed to simply roleplaying one, this board can provide a lot of insight on submission and slavery. You must be a member to access the boards, but sign up is easy.

Bondage.com: Though this site emphasizes BDSM, there is information helpful for those interested in being more than a roleplayed slave.

Gorean Encyclopedia: A great site when you need to quickly look up a word you hear in the midst of roleplay.

In Second Life

The University of Gor: The people who run the UoG hold classes on a regular basis. The content of classes range from the books to the basics of being a kajira. There is also a fully stocked library on the second floor.

The Gorean Education Center: The GEC provides informational scrolls on many topics, including the people and cultures of Gor. Regular classes are also held at the GEC.

Gorean Slaves group: Obviously, I can’t provide a link to this, but just type “gorean” into search under the group tab. This group is for mentoring, and is useful for quick questions.

The Cities of Dust Gorean Information HUB: This site contains many scrolls pertaining to slaves, including some on dances.

The Gorean Hub – Information Center: While this location has most of what is found in other sites, it also offers information in other languages, such as French, German and Italian.

Responses

  1. I will have to earmark this site!

I am one ‘new to Gor’ and am on the second reading of the Gor books…well, some of them….trying to go from 1-22…

there are more, but I have been remiss.

I don’t know about the application of slavery to my life, but I am intrigued by the kajira issue….and the Slave Girl of Gor book I do have.

Vis a vis Gorean philosophy, I do rather consider myself a Free Woman….however, there are those men, much ‘wiser’ in Gorean stuff, that tell me I am a slave.

This I will have to discover for myself. Until then, I am not jumping.

    I wish you well!

    Teela
